THE TRANCE
Todd Bentley describes how his trip to heaven began. At a conference in January 2007 he felt "the glory of God really heavy" and told Bill Johnson he had to get out of the auditorium.
"I've learned over the years what the trance feels like… You could call a trance like the anesthesia, like you go to the doctor and they're gonna put you out for a surgery." He says he lay on the floor of the green room and was "taken to heaven."
Scripture never tells believers to seek a state where the mind is put under. It tells us to stay alert:
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV
