But Scripture doesn't leave room for "Jesus plus." Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). "There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). You can't hold on to Hindu gods and follow Christ: "You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons" (1 Corinthians 10:21).
And the name? "The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch" (Acts 11:26). Following Jesus means leaving every other god behind.
