ONE THING SHOULD BE ENOUGH.
Jonathan Roumie — the face of Jesus on The Chosen, Lonnie Frisbee in Jesus Revolution — went to Christ Cathedral, sat by Frisbee’s grave, prayed a rosary “with him,” and lay down on the empty plot beside the body.
He did not ask the living God first. He asked a dead man for a sign.
“Lonnie, I want to honor you with this film… if this is a good idea, have somebody give me a sign.”
A cathedral bell rang. He took it as an answer.
That is not piety. That is calling up the dead.
Deuteronomy 18:9–12 — there shall not be found among you a medium, a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. All who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.
If a spirit answered a prayer aimed at a corpse, it was not Lonnie Frisbee. The dead do not consult on film roles.
Catholicism, mysticism, Freemasonry ties — the list is long. This clip is the short list. One act of necromancy on the man the church now watches as Christ should be enough to walk away from the product.
You do not need The Chosen. You already have the Word.
