Letting Your Loop Run (Proverbs 28:13)
Exhibit AKey Evidence
- In Looper, Seth can't face what's standing in front of him, so he runs. But running doesn't erase the past. It just lets it catch up with you later, on worse terms.
- We do the same thing with sin. We hide it, excuse it, stay busy, and hope it fades.
- Hiding never closes the loop. Confession does. Name it, turn from it, and receive the mercy God promises to those who come into the light.
Exhibit BFrom the Word
“He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”

“This is called letting your loop run.” 🏃
In Looper, Seth can't face what's standing in front of him, so he runs. But running doesn't erase the past. It just lets it catch up with you later, on worse terms.
We do the same thing with sin. We hide it, excuse it, stay busy, and hope it fades. Scripture is honest about where that goes: “He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy” (Proverbs 28:13, NKJV).
Hiding never closes the loop. Confession does. Name it, turn from it, and receive the mercy God promises to those who come into the light.
