Summary
John Moscato spent almost five years in Freemasonry and reached the fourth degree. He describes his initiation as an Entered Apprentice. He was hoodwinked (blindfolded), and something was put around his neck and a rope tied to his feet. Then he swore an oath whose penalty for betrayal was to have his throat slit from ear to ear. Later, he says, the lodge officers told the members plainly that they open a portal in the lodge room, a portal to the darkness, and that they work with demonic entities. John had joined because he wanted answers about the spiritual realm. Freemasonry never gave them. It only teased him with the possibility of answers. At the end of his rope, he cried out, "God, if you're real… show me the way." He found the way in Jesus Christ, who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."

Takeaway
Freemasonry presents itself as a fraternity. It asks men to swear blood oaths before they know what they are swearing to. Jesus taught openly and calls His people to plain words, not secret oaths. If it's just a fraternity, why the blood oath? There is a way out, and His name is Jesus.
