Albert Pike & the Klan

The first Grand Wizard of the KKK… "a Freemason"? 🔺 The documentary says the Klan "was created in Pulaski, Tennessee," and that its first Grand Wizard, Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest, was a Freemason. On Albert Pike, the film is honest: his "role in the Klan" is "unknown." Historical investigator Andrew Gough says "many sources, including Forrest, claimed that Pike was a member," notes that "both Forrest and Pike were high-ranking freemasons," and says the Klan "took on some of the Masonic trappings" and saw itself "as a medieval chivalric order reborn."
Robes, ranks, rituals and talk of light can't hide a heart full of hate. God's Word says that anyone who claims the light while hating his brother is still in darkness. The true Light is Jesus Christ. He laid down His life for His enemies, and He makes one family out of every nation that comes to Him.
"He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now." 1 John 2:9 (NKJV)
"Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." 1 John 3:15 (NKJV)
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." Ephesians 5:11 (NKJV)
