Albert Pike & the Brotherhood

"The controversial Master Mason, Albert Pike." 🔺 He built the Scottish Rite out to 32 degrees, and in the Civil War his "brothers" helped each other across enemy lines. When the lodge's loyalty outranks even a war, which master is really being served?
Jesus never worked in degrees, secret oaths, or hidden rites. "I spake openly to the world… and in secret have I said nothing." John 18:20 (KJV). Christ is the Light of the world, and His people don't need a lodge to walk in it. You can't swear secret oaths in the dark and follow the Light at the same time.
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24 (KJV)
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)
