We keep trying to reason to God.

We keep trying to reason to God.
Cosmological argument. Uncaused cause. Stacks of books.
Sye Ten Bruggencate: God isn’t a God we reason to.

He’s the God we can’t reason without.
We don’t conclude God.

We start with God.

If you don’t start with Him, the worldview is absurd.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge.”
— Proverbs 1:7

“In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.”
— Colossians 2:3–4

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men… and not after Christ.”
— Colossians 2:8

“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding… oppositions of science falsely so called.”
— 1 Timothy 6:20

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer…”
— 1 Peter 3:15

Set apart Christ as Lord first. Then give the defense.
