The fleece can fool you. The fruit cannot.
The fleece can fool you. The fruit cannot.
Adrian Rogers, from Beware the Wolves (Matthew 7:16–19):
Wolves do not stay hidden. Jesus stops calling them animals and starts calling them trees. “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” You do not get figs from thistles.
Rogers’ line in this clip: it is the root that determines the fruit. Prune a bad tree and you only feed the same root.
