That Time Justin Peters Called Out Todd Bentley
"This man is a worker of iniquity." 🔦
Todd Bentley held the mic out to Justin Peters at a church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Justin, standing on his crutches, quoted Jesus' own words in Matthew 7:21-23: "I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of iniquity." Seconds later the service moved on to "text 67076."
Signs and wonders are not the gospel. Christ and Him crucified is.
"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." Ephesians 5:11

Extended Case File: Justin Peters on Todd Bentley
Justin Peters says standing next to Todd Bentley was "palpably dark." 🔦
In the fuller interview, Justin recounts the moment in Tulsa, standing there on his crutches. He and the host are both cessationists, "not mystical kind of people," yet he says the entire room was disturbing. This wasn't Baptists and Presbyterians arguing over infant baptism or eschatology. In Justin's words: "This was something sinister."
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV)
