Shelf · Church Discernment & False Teachers 104 of 108
Exhibit AKey Evidence
- Rod Parsley, in his own words. In a sermon clip (uploaded 2018) he says Adam and Eve "could have been there 400 million years" in Eden, and preaches the dead man who came to life touching Elisha's bones (2 Kings 13:21).
- In a TV broadcast (audio via Fighting for the Faith, 2012) he asks viewers for a "$54.17 seed," says the 17 cents is "the instruction that God placed in my spirit," and tells them: "Go to the phone. Do it right now."
- We also show a 2009 Charisma report on his urgent fund-raising appeal and his archived Center for Moral Clarity page on Israel and CUFI national leadership.
Exhibit BFrom the Word
“By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.”
