Genesis 6 is not a sermon about mixed marriages between Seth and Cain. For the first four centuries, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Ambrose, and Josephus read it the other way: sons of God as fallen angels. They took wives. The offspring were Nephilim — from naphal, fallen ones.
Noah was “perfect in his generations.” Not morally flawless. Unblemished in the line. The flood was not over ordinary sin alone. Something else was on the earth.
Jesus: as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be. Wars and famines are old. The distinctive mark of Noah’s hour was that crossing.
Thomas’s claim is that the same play may run again — “entities from space,” a last assault to pull worship off God. He calls it the omega conspiracy. Test it. Do not swallow it whole. Do not dismiss the text because it is strange.
