Horus was a teacher at twelve, and at thirty he was baptized and began his ministry.
Nothing in the Egyptian texts says that. The retreat is a clock. Twelve noon is "age twelve," so the sun begins his father's work. Hebrews called noon the sixth hour. The sun starts at dawn. At noon it is about six hours old, not twelve.
Age thirty is a zodiac degree. The sun enters each sign at thirty degrees, so the "son" of God starts his ministry at thirty. A degree is not a year. And sun and son only rhyme in English.
Asked where Egypt actually said it, the answer is they didn't. Acharya calls it a clever play on words that reflects reality.
