#37 · No Evidence for Planet X
Series · Demystifying the Occult 37 of 37
Exhibit AKey Evidence
- The biggest problem with Planet X (Nibiru) is that there is no evidence for it.
- To arrive within a decade, it couldn't be farther than about a billion kilometers away, and even at that distance it would be one of the brightest objects in the sky.
- Tiny Pluto sits 5 billion kilometers out and is easily detected with modern equipment.
- "It's hiding behind the Sun" doesn't work either: near the Sun it would be moving at its fastest and would only stay hidden for a very short time.
- "They would need to confiscate every telescope in the world to keep this secret hidden."
- Every picture and "proof" posted so far is an admitted hoax or a mistake.
Exhibit BFrom the Word
“He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”

Demystifying the Occult #37: No Evidence for Planet X
Theme: Part of the 2012 section of the series. Chris White takes apart the Planet X (Nibiru) doomsday claim on the simplest ground there is: if it were real, everyone could see it. Weighed against the God who numbers and names every star (Psalm 147:4, KJV).

Summary
Chris White gives another argument against Planet X: there is no evidence for it. For Planet X to arrive in less than a decade, it could be no farther than about a billion kilometers away, and even at that distance it would be one of the brightest objects in the sky. Pluto is far smaller and about 5 billion kilometers out, yet modern equipment detects it easily. Some say Planet X is hiding behind the Sun, but at that point in its projected orbit it would be moving at its fastest and would only stay behind the Sun for a very short time. Claims that observatories are being shut down to hide it are not true, and keeping it secret would mean confiscating every telescope in the world. Every picture and piece of "evidence" posted so far has been shown to be an admitted hoax or a mistake.
Key lines
- "Another argument against Planet X is the absence of any evidence for it."
- "Even at that distance, it would be one of the brightest objects in the sky."
- "Tiny Pluto is 5 billion kilometers out and can easily be detected using modern equipment."
- "They would need to confiscate every telescope in the world to keep this secret hidden."
- "All of which have been shown to either be an admitted hoax or a mistake of some kind."
Scripture
- Psalm 147:4 (KJV): "He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names."
Takeaway
Fear-based prophecy depends on people not checking. The heavens God made are open for anyone to look at, and they show no hidden doomsday planet. Christians are not to be dismayed at the signs of heaven (Jeremiah 10:2) but to trust the One who numbers the stars.
