Benny Hinn: False Prophet?
"Benny Hinn meets each and every single biblical criterion as to how to discern a false prophet." ⚡️ Slain in the Spirit… or just a show?
Crowds falling over, a coat swung like a weapon, and "prophecies" that never came to pass. The Bible doesn't measure a prophet by the size of the arena or how many people hit the floor. It measures him by the truth. When a man speaks "in the name of the LORD" and it doesn't come to pass, God has already told us what that is. Love the people caught up in it, but don't be afraid of the man. Test everything by the Word.
"When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him." Deuteronomy 18:22 (KJV)
"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Matthew 7:15 (KJV)
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)
