🦋 A butterfly flew across the Grand Ole Opry stage during a tribute. That does not mean Dolly Parton’s spirit “transmuted” into an insect and is now haunting the building.
The Opry post used poetic language. Turning it into proof of spiritism, animism, or a demonic sign goes beyond what the Bible actually teaches about the dead.

The dead do not roam the earth as butterflies. Butterflies are creatures God made (Psalm 104:24). A coincidence, a meaningful symbol Dolly loved, or simply a bug in a theater is not automatically a “lying sign and wonder” or the spirit of antichrist.
We can honor someone’s life, grieve, and still refuse superstition. Test everything. Hold fast what is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
