MYSTERY BABYLON — EPISODE 2: THE SUN OF GOD
Bill Cooper's Hour of the Time. Before the zodiac and the capstone, he says, there was one idea: the sun as savior.
Their first enemy was the dark. Whatever beat it back became a god.
The sun dies at dusk to Set and rises on the "Horus-risen." The hawk is the newborn sun.
Golgotha becomes the mind. The two thieves become regret and fear.
The crown of thorns becomes the corona, the same spikes on Liberty's crown.
Dawn, noon, dusk: their trinity.
The chief cornerstone becomes a floating capstone over an unfinished pyramid.
The man with the pitcher becomes Aquarius. The end of the world becomes the end of an age.
We print the claim. We do not crown it.
Genesis 1:16 — God made the sun to rule the day. It is a creation, not a Creator.
John 8:12 — Jesus is the light of the world.
Revelation 21:23 — The city needs no sun. The Lamb is its light.
They worship the sun.
We worship the One who made it.
